I've built the front end of this project with React, Next.js, Redux and Bootstrap.
Back-end
The back end of this project was built using Node.js, TypeScript Express, MongoDB, and Firebase for authentication. Various libraries were used for the back end of this project. Among them we have: - cloudinary - jsonwebtoken - firebase-admin - nodemailer
Challenges & Conclusion
The goal of this project was to build a delivery tracking system. A system that allows any business owner to better inform their customers about the precise location of their packages in real-time. All the business owner needs is an admin account to get access to the location update system and delivery tracking number generation page. They can store customer information, update the status of delivery, and many other functionalities. The client of this project wanted to target a specific country. A country where this type of application isn't popular at all. So I didn't want to confuse customers with a complex UI. All they need is the delivery tracking number generated by an admin user. And if it's a valid number, they can get access to the client page where they can view their delivery route and status updated in real-time.
